I just rolled over 169,000 on original pads and rotors, replaced E-brake shoes but can't remember mileage when done. A little less than half this mileage was towing a 4000 lb boat. Will be looking to replace pads and rotors in the near future just need these to go out first...Zed

My experience is that yes, the rears wear out faster. Especially right rear, something about a bunch of **** getting all in the caliper. There is a post on the Truck Performance (I believe) about this and why the 05's are drum rears...
