I have no idea what my truck is going to make horsepower wise, but im assuming around 350-380 to the rear wheels (5.3L TR224/224 cam, 3600ss yank, longtubes, tune, 4.10s, other small stuff)
What should I do to the trans? (stock 4L60e unit)
I currently have a vette servo and trangsgo HD-2 kit but want to buy a few other things before I bring it to the trans shop.
I heard to buy the following:
ACDelco 5 pinion rear planetary
Raybestos Z-Pak
Kevlar Band
What else is needed/recommended?
Thanks in advance

i think you would be surprised how well it will hold up with just the vette servo and transgo. However i would look into forward metal accumulator pistons, as well as the 1-2 metal accumulator pistons. Then a strong 3-4 clutch pack, heavy duty 2-4 band, GM 5 pinion plantetary and a sunbeast sunshell.
Im going to be running LT's, tune and 3200 stall with just a vette servo!

The 4 pinion planets are good enough for what your looking to push. I bought a set and could not find a bearing for the rear planet. Do get a trans cooler, I alerady have one.

My trans and converter installed, $3k
$400 for install and cleaning up the the complete trans, valve body(4-5 hours) and replace the trans mount.
$800 for the rebuild
The rest in parts
I bought parts ahead of the build to make it less painfull on my wallet.
My builder told me that the front planet is the important one that take the beating.
DO get a torrington bearing kit and replace all the bushings. There are some that I used that have a teflon coating in it.
