Default Built rearend questions..

I did a search and still am not totally clear..

Im getting ready to order everything for my rear end, and I was wondering what
all do I need, like a parts list... including all the parts, cover, and what type of fluid and what not...

I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to rear ends..

And for the personal preference questions..

Locker or limted slip?

Edit: so i did a little deeper searching and found that trutrac seems to be the way to go, is the trutrac a locker or limted slip?

and gears between these three 3.73/3.90/4.11?

ive also heard about buying a master install kit, and ive seen **** about pinion and carrier bearings.. AHH im so lost! lol

Thanks in advance for the help.

I personally never ran RP, but I have lucas, so that has worked well for me.. The master instal kit comes with new shims, bearings, you will need to do the install.. You can get away with using the stock caps on some cases but i used all the **** that cam with the Master kit..

Don't use synthetic gear oil with the truetrac. Eaton doesn't recommend it with the True Tracs.

LOL, I couldn't tell if you understood or not. Either way that's the truetrac part number for 8.5/8.625 rear ends
