This is true, no syn's with the Detroit.. it will come with both

perfered brand of gear and install kit, im seeing alot of good things about motive and yukon for the gears but havent seen much on the install kit?

since i already have 3.73s and they only have 40k miles on them are they good enough to re use or should i order some yukons or something?

Never built it, but i know a guy thats built about 20 or 30, so i trust he can do it....

and another bump to have someone explain the difference between LSD and Posi, and which aftermartker rearend is LSD and which is posi

LSD will transfer power back an forth on the tires, depending which one is spinning more, or with less traction, posi is both wheels all the time with power.. Get a tru trac, be done

There are clutch type, wedge cone things that break type, torsen (trutrac), and locker. The locker is the only type with positive engagement which means once it locks nothing is going to slip. The clutch types are good, eventually might need a re-build. The torsen is not meant for drag racing but holds up good anyway.
