built tranny, or rear end first?
i know they both can go out at any time.. now that the dealership just fixed my tranny, it should be good for now.. i told jesse to remove only 50percent of tm.. i wont be beating on it like b4. i really want a locker and 410s.. but should i wait? should i save for the flt?

Start saving for the FLTL5 (b/c of the CCSB's weight). Vince will definitely take care of you with no future worries. If the rear is what I think it is and you're mod'n the powertrain, it'll go eventually. Save for an Eaton LSD with 3.73s or 4.10s (depends on your usage... hwy vs city).

its gonna mostly be hw.. but ur right, i should look more into the future and save for the big dog tranny instead of wanting to quickly drop ets. btw im still goin in feb. to moroso in west palm beach. this will be with all current mods and headers. should i use any kind of higher oct? i will def bring a cooler with bags of ice for the intake. im hoping for mid to low 15s.. i already beat a mid 15 sec car from a 10 roll with a messed up tranny.. so we will see.
flt 5 it is then.. but its gonna be a little while...

yea i could do that.. 410s are sounding good right now. bc im gettin a new, better job, that provides me with a work truck. and ill be doing little hw driving.. but will this cause the tranny to mess up big time?.. also what drivetrain mods do i need to go on a dyno?

i had a procharger on my silvy with a 5.3 and destroyed a tranny in 2 weeks, got the tranny fully built, blew the motor a month later, and the stock g80 is still hanging on. i have a Detroit waiting in the garage. but it still locks both tires and lights em up. so what i'm saying is the rear will go, but not before the trans. in my experience.
