Question Built the Trans now I got an ABS light?

Just got my 4L60 built up and the thing really shifts and feels great, yet 15 mins after I got it from the shop I got on it from a 70 roll and got an ABS light and my speedometer just kinda shook in place? No rear end changes or tire sizes were changed, just straight trans work? Anyboby know what's going on?

Yeah that's what I thought it may be, how did you "fix it good", i'd really hate to replace it with a new one...i've spent enough $$$$$ today!

Matt's problem was something unrelated kinda.... his truck is a 4wd, they have the VSS mounted on the top of the transfer case, this requires an extension to be added in between to reach, the connections on his factory extension weren't making a tight connection so he eliminated them and permanatly connected it. On your 2wd it's on the driver side of the tailshaft. all together you may have a bad connection at the plug, just disconnect it, clean it (electrical contact cleaner if you have some) and put it back together tight and you may be ok. also if the VSS isn't connected it can keep the transmission from going past 2nd gear.... don't ask how we know his

The problem I was having with the jumper plug is that the female slots in the plug had gotten open up too mutch (*****) I fixed it once by tightening them, but last time I just cut em off and used a permanant solution. Yours may have whored open at the plug. Just a suggestion, but like Nick stated when the VSS ***** up, the truck goes into a limp mode and wont shift out of second. mine was flakey, but not completely out. Man it was a bad ffeling going about 60 or so checking out the FLT level 5 that just went in less than 20 miles earlier and everything working fine, then hift into 3rd and nothing, Limped on home cut the damn extension plugs off and FIXED it
