Also fwiw PATC has 6 pinion billit close ratio gear sets for the 60 if your trying to build the ultimate 60.
from what I've learned you can either use a fully built 60E or an 80 with a shift kit only the 80 will last wayyy longer and take more power, it's just doing the math to see what's cheaper built 60? Or 80 swap?

That sprag is a proprietary part for GM and GM reman facilities. You will not be able to get it unless you purchase a whole sprag assembly from GM and they are pricey. Last I checked they are like $200. You need to order one using a 2010 vin that would have a V8 or 6.0L in it. I know some the 09 TBSS used these and some of the later trucks if it helps. Vince

About a month ago I started Managing a transmission shop and now i want to build me a stout 4L60e trans and a 2500 stall.. I can build it myself but i dont know what some of the best parts are, Anyone know what some of the best parts are that can be put in one of these to make it pretty stout..? sun shells, drums clutchs ect.. and where i can get them..?
How do you manage a trans shop, and don't know where or how to get good parts?

I'll have to look and see if I still have it. Its been a while! In most cases I use the Borg Warner dual cage sprag and it works just fine. I'm pretty sure that is what you saw. If you would like to shoot me a pm with a link to what you saw I can confirm this for you. Vince
