Default Calling all T56 six speed trucks

After two months, and three mistunes later, I'm tired of not knowing how fast I'm going, and a slow unresponsive tune service. what have you guys done to correct an incorrect speedometer? I'm thinking of buying hpt or efilive so I can do it, or at least blame myself.

I edited the VSS pulses per mile via HPT. I don't think there's any other way to do it besides tuning. The number of teeth on the reluctor ring is different than your 60E.

I see that you have a Nelson tune, he should be able to hook you right up on the first try. I was one of the ginea pigs.

I actually was a 5 speed to begin with. I've always been pleased with allens work, but for some reason every time I call I get johnathan or lisa. I haven't talked to allen since my first tune. I wonder if some one else is doing to tuning? I know they're busy, I hate to keep bothering them on the same thing over and over.

The T56 has a 17 tooth reluctor ring. You have to enter that and I had to do manual calculations to figure the pulses per mile considering my tire diameter and rear gearing. Using HPT anyhow.

Well I am in the same boat BUT it has been very difficult to stay in touch with Allen. I am having to wit for a new tune because I am about to change tire size and gear ratio. Unfortunatley because he is in Texas it just stinks having to wait so long for the updates, it can be frustrating BUT damn if it isn't worth it once you get the TUNE I would love to drive down there and get everything done at once but I am 2 days of travel time away from Texas

I had actually thought about going ahead and putting in my LS6 that I built and driving out to texas and have it tuned in person, that way we could get my speedo fixed and dyno tune it at the same time. But that would be at least a couple of months the cops around here would just love that.
