suspension is loose, I made sure of that, plenty of travel up down. I just didnt know if loading the converter like i was under boost was already lifting the suspension as high as it wanted to go. I will change that air pressure, pick up some shocks and try it again. Thanks for the replys and your time

Hey guys,
My 4.8 turbo truck, 62mm (old turbo), 9lbs, 3600 converter, 3.90s, M&H 390s, single cab would cut a 1.69 60ft leaving at 1k rpm no boost. This was with a half turn of preload in the middle hole. I decided to try the STFY shuffle thing for the brakes to build boost and launch. It worked, the truck made about 8lbs up on the converter, but as soon as i left off the foot brake, truck dropped and roasted the tires off. While the truck was up on the converter it had lifted the *** end so high. So heres my question if anyone has experiance, How should i be setting these up if i want to leave under boost? Do i really need to preload the crap out of them, to make up for the truck lifting when on the converter? not which way to try to go with it. Thanks for any replys

roll out of the burnout, pull up to stage, foot on brake, throw it in neutral, rev it up a couple times until you feel your brake pedal drop, keep pushed down the brakes really hard, put it back in gear, with the brakes still pushed flinstone style, start gving it gas. Mine actually allowed for 8lbs of boost, i think it all depends how sticky your tires are, and my converter being pretty loose, got the rpms up.

Front sway bar was removed on the 1.69 60ft pass, but The truck was totaled, I have rebuilt it by combining 2 trucks lol, and the sway bar is on this one. I took it for its first test pass today 8th mile since rebuild, 7.70 at 88 with a 1.68 60ft with the sway bar, 1/8" gap on caltracs, bottom hole. left a 1k and flashed the converter, no spin
