Can't decide between Hotchkis or DJM, 2/4
Here's my dillema. both are about the same price, 420-450 for the 2/4 drop but are fairly different end results.
DJM - CAs and hanger/shackle
1) Stock ride and handling - neutral
2) Stock loading capability - good
Hotchkis - coil and leafs
1) Better ride & handling - good (as long as it isn't too rough.)
2) Less loading capability, correct? - bad
Plan on going with Doestech or IAS shocks either way as they seem to make a world of difference from what most people say. My main hangup on the hotchkis is the fact that it may be a little too rough and possibly kill the hauling ability. I do haul yard supplies/dirt/whatever in the summer.
I would love to hear your guys opinions.
Andrew

I wouldn't run either if I could redo mine...I'd go with the mcgaughy spindles for up front and the shackle hanger combo for the rear, but you have to have 17" wheel or larger to go with the good mcgaughy spindles.

I have a DJM 4/6 right now, and on Monday, im putting the hotchkis 2.5/4 with the sway bars on. The DJM IMO does not ride like stock. I had belltech nitro actives, and doestch shocks on it, and it has never ridden like stock, nor hauled a load to well. With the hotchkis im gonna run IAS shocks. I think ill be ahppy with the ride since im already used the rough ride, but now ill have better handling to boot.
