The EATON posi will leave a pair of black marks ... first hand experience there!

You want cheap gears, hit up ebay, quality, find them at a sponsor. All to often cheap and quality don't go hand in hand.

You get what you pay for!
Go with a set of factory gears. They are the best clearanced and trued set of gears you can buy.
GM buys from a particular manufacturer. Some of the guys here know who it is. They are still reasonably priced. I would go with those.

I agree, don't go with cheap gears. I did once and regret it afterwards.

Go to randy's. 26037713 maybe, I forget. Its just a 8.5/8.6 gear. Get the OE though. They have good prices. Or try national drivetrain, nationwide diff's.

BTW- the oe gears are made by AAM - american axle and manufacturing. So if you see that brand they are OE.
