Default Chevy lean fix via shackle?

My truck has had a bad case of Chevy lean since day one. I did a 2/4 drop with 2" springs in the front and 2" shackles and hangers in the rear. Even after the drop it still leans up to 1" lower on the driver side rear, less in the front. Even with an empty tank and no driver it will do this.

Is it okay to raise the left rear using the adjustment in the drop shackle?

The front is okay, maybe 1/4" lower on the left, its the rear that's the problem. If I raise the left rear the left front should come up a small amount too.

I've also heard of clamping the helper spring, but I think my helper spring is pretty much already loaded, there isn't much clamping to be done.

I have read that other people have adjusted one of their shackles to alleviate this problem. I have never read anything bad about it. I would say go ahead and do it.

I'm actually going to use lowering springs (2") in the back to rid the truck of the dreaded Chevy lean. I believe it is due to a difference in the spring arches.

I seem to remember someone talking about doing that, but there was never a followup.

Don't see why they would be but maybe the added weight from the gas tank and driver being on the left side has caused them to sag more then the other side.

My thought is that maybe it would even it back out...

I might give that a shot, but removing the springs is a pain in the *** now with the 2" drop hangars.
