Yup, flipping the shims should rotate the diff rear 4* down, then the Belltech carrier bearing relocator I think moves the bearing up.

Got the Belltech carrier bearing relocator installed, and I flipped the 2* shims so the fat end is forward. I didn't get a chance to measure the pinion angle, but visually it looks like +1*.

It seems to have alleviated the leaning, still leans a tad to the left though. Also the shudder when taking off from a stop and vibration from 15-25 mph is gone. No other vibrations to speak of. Once I measure the pinon angle I'll get some bigger shims, probably 6* or something.

Extended cab I am guessing?

Yeah i was going to say gas tank. My truck even had the lean after i went to full air ride always had to put more air in the left rear. Now that i mounted a fuel cell behind axle it is about even on rear air now. You gotta remember the stock tank empty is still heavy then add 26 gallons of gas at 7 pounds a gallon and **** changes. On top of other suspension issues ya got. The angle looks a lil better. Like what was said earlier for track use you actually want it up a lil because when you launch it twist down. And then the rearend will also try and lift the rr and plant the lr hence cars and truck pulling the lf tire off the ground.

Not a Chevy but I assume all vehicles react similar?

The rear will twist up when accelerating, it will twist the opposite direction as the tires; Newton's laws to some extent. I thought this is why you wanted a negative pinion angle so the driveshaft to pinion angle would be less severe when accelerating.

Cool video BTW, I had no idea the rear can twist that much!

Correct.

This is what it does with a set of longbars.
