Thumbs up Circle d 278 in, nice

I put a circle d 278mm 28-3200 torque converter in my 04 ccsb last weekend. All I can say is it is like night and day comparing the stock to the circle d. This converter rocks, and it is an awesome price. I got the shifts and lockup straightened out with my HP tuners... finally. What is the next thing to do to the truck to make it pull harder up on top now?

MODS are as follows, hptuners, converter above, and muffler (3 chamber flow, need something quieter.)

best thing to make a truck pull up top is a performance cam.

Thinking about getting a Circle D convertor and my next mod. Not sure which one yet. I need to ask Chris his opinion.

Default cam

I would like to do an ory with the stock manifolds and a cam. money is tight, I need to get a muffler first, get this junk flowmaster off. afterwards ill probably do the other two. I need an offset/offset 3" muffler about 24-30inches, any good suggestions on that also?

i got the larger of the two stalls on the 278mm converter(28-3200), now after driving it, i would probably have done the 26-2800. but from a light if you stomp it, it launches ALOT harder than the stock converter did.

either way, i dont think you can go wrong with chris at circle d, good guy and awesome converter.

I absolutely love my Circle-D converter...the lockup clutch hits like a **** (multi-disc), but I've gotten used to it. I totally agree that you can't go wrong with Chris and Circle-D
