Drivability is still really good. It felt different to me when I first drove it. This is the first time for me to drive a vehicle with a stall. It almost feels like you got a heavy trailer hooked up to it, except for when you give it more gas to accelerate faster its like you turned the horse loose. As for the rpm it takes to get it moving i believe if im just putting around it starts to move at about 1600 or so. I can tell a major difference from a dead punch and also from brake stalling it. I used to could not spin the tires to much from a dead stop. now with just a quick jab of about 1/4 throttle it spins them. When I jump on it about 3/4 throttle it is lighting them up and pulling hard in first gear. Now most of the could be because of my procharger being at a more sutible rpm but with a stall dont let anyone tell you it isnt going to make a very noticable difference and that the 80e sucks because of the first gear. I now have a new fondness to my procharger thanks to circle d

hmmm...sounds awesome. From your description it doesn't really sound all too loose.

I installed Circle D's 4000 stall 9.5 street converter a couple weeks ago and man... it is a blast to drive! I thought it was going to be loose as hell since it is a 4000 stall but it surprised the crap out of me when it is just a tad looser than my old yanktt3000... just flashes a lot higher . Yes Chris recommended not to lock it up WOT since it is a single disc converter.

A big thanks to Chris! He showed me around the shop and taught me the basics of how a torque converter works and everything! Top notch service!

Runs great in a stock cam 5.3l.

Circle D 258mm Billet triple disk= a lot lighter even picking it up 35-40lbs no fluid. Not saying that it is gonna get me a full second, but I do have a procharger and people with similar track speeds at 100mph in the 1/4 are running 12.8-13.1 or so. Also my times of 14 flat at 99 come with stock stall and my truck is pretty heavy. From a dead stop punch I cant spin the tires but after moving to about 30 or so I burn them down. Also many times from a roll on I have pulled from trucks that are around those times in the 1/4. Not saying it will I am just wishing. Oh btw there will be one more mod, 28in Hoosiers on stock 16in aluminum rims vs my 31in tires on 20 chevy bowtie chrome rims.

Talk about hitting the nail on the head, went from 14.05@99 to 12.93 @103 and 13.37 on street tires no change on one pass only light on the gas. So I guess I did gain a full second+.
