Will a modified stock converter have three discs? Are you saying that the three disc only comes in higher than stock stall?
The factory converter has a 310MM or 13" converter. I have a billet front for that as well in single disk or a 3 disk setup. The Multi disk billet setup that is shown here is for a 265MM, 258MM or 245MM pump. Hope this helps some.

I agree, build it better than you think you need to and it will still hold up when you add more than you thought you would.
