How does Circle D compare to a PI converter?

This is the engine side of the billet front. It is made from a solid piece of steel, no welding on pads or rings to convert a OE converter. Circle D converters are built to last. This is a 6 lug 4L80 version. I can also make a hybrid that will bolt to a LS 4L60 and fit a 4L80 trans.

This is the opposite side of the billet front. Where the multi disk clutch pack resides. The teeth are what we make so it can take a clutch pack. This is made to take some serious abuse. We designed the lug to be extremely rigid, no chance of breaking it off - ever!

This is an image showing the clutch pack, we laser cut the steels for a tight fit. We also use a square tab design to prevent rattle. This is a high carbon clutch material and we get 100 square inches of it. "We dare you to break it"

This is a picture of the billet apply piston installed in the front. This is what will squeeze the clutches together, giving you a WOT lock up capability. I spend some extra CNC mill time here as well. The piston has spokes in it for strength and light weight.

Hope you enjoyed looking and thanks!

Chris
Very nice looking! What OD'' is this converter, and how does it hold big TQ in a 5000LB 4x4? Im looking for something that will drop to at least 4500RPM on a 5500RPM shift unlocked.

We have numerous options for the Dodges. Billet, single or multi, Custom stators for different stall choices. Give me a call and I can go over them. I will hopefully be updating my ancient website soon with more info.
