I went with a billet single disk setup in 258mm (~10") built to foot brake to right at 3500RPM. Mine is an LS1/80E Hybrid converter. No other conversion parts necessary in the bellhousing. Haven't installed or ran it yet since I'm in the middle of a pretty involved rebuild/setup change... But I'm sure I'll be happy with it, if not, Chris gurarntees this thing 100%

sweet looking converter.... i currently have a PI 10.5" 3000 stall triple disk converter... i love it... i just wish it had better shift extensions... it drops 2000 rpms as it shifts.... would your 10.5" 3000 stall do the same? thanks

That was one of the main things I expressed to Chris when we first started talking about building me something, He assured me I'd have really nice shift extensions and that's why he set me up with what he did. I think shift extension is one of the more overlooked aspects of a converter.

Not positive on the shift extensions, the converters not in just yet, but I was told they'd be 1000-1200RPM, I got the '3B' which is supposed to brake stall to around 3500RPM

The 10.5" - 265MM converter is a little to big in my opinion for most setups - Unless you are running a big turbo that spools low, extremely heavy, or looking for ultimate street manors. The 258MM has a few more options in stall ranges and the smaller diameter helps with shift extensions.

I couldn't remember if my new FP had provisions for 6 bolts or not, but it looks like it does, I may have to give your converter a try when I return from deployment

new FP on the right:

You can with a Circle D. We designed our billet front to be as bullet proof as we could. So making them a 6 lug was the obvious choice. When you start from a big chunk of steel, you have no limits.
