circle d reworked tb stall..
chris, or anybody..
with my truck in sig. what would the stall footbrake and flash to from idle?(around rpm) is it possible to have it stalled higher then the 2800-3200 to maybe 3000-3400!? i use the truck to every once in a blue moon pull a trailer load of atv's, or a small 18ft. camper to the deer woods. i would like to put a 220/220 cam in the future.. but i need the slight tow ability, but want noticeable off the line difference from the stock converter. will it atleast spin the tires from a punch? or should i do the 3c w/40,000 cooler??
thanks again guys,
steve

I have one it flashes to about 3100 rpm. tires will spin if I give more than 3/4 throttle from a stop. before the stall it would not spin at full throttle. it is a pretty tight stall and chris at circle d said it would still be good for towing with a trans cooler. the shift extension is the best part though. go ahead and get one you will like it.

I think the Circle D TB would be my choice. It should footbrake in the mid 2000's and flash to about 3000. I can not modify it any higher, to get to a 3400 or bigger you need a smaller diameter converter. But from what you are asking for, I think the TB will be great. Definitely add a cooler to keep the temps down as well.
