Circle D vs. Yank
I know both are good converters. But has anyone did any testing to see which one had more slippage than the other one, causing less power to the wheels? And i'm more talking about their bottom of the line ones not the $$$ ones.

From both yank and circle D's web page!
Yank has a better description and spec sheet ...
YANK TRUCK THRUSTER 3000 4L60E/4L65E
278 mm, 3000 stall, 2.21 STR, 98.6% efficiency! This converter is a modified Truck Thruster 2600. Being so, it shares the stock-like appearance, super-high efficiency, and impressive towing capacity of its lower stall brother.
Circle D needs more detail...
Torque Converter Diameter: 278mm - 11"
Stall speeds 2600 to 3200 RPM
Hand TIG Welded
High Carbon Spun Wound Lock-Up Clutch Lining
Heavy Duty Torrington Bearings

Talked to Circle D and they should be VERY close to the same. Circle D is 2.2 STR and Chris said efficiency should be very close too. Its basically the same 278mm converter before they start with it.
