my personal experience is moving the shocks to the rear of the axle would contribute to more aggressive spring wrap on hard acceleration..... actually broke a few leafs like this on another rig.

IMO, shocks should NEVER be used in attempt to control axle wrap. If the wrap is that bad, you need to correct the suspension(traction aids, spring rates, etc). The shock's job is dampening and controlling the spring, and nothing more.

Seems like a cheap and simple enough mod. Will have to look into making some of these for the next track day.

Yep clamp the front to keep axle warp down. Mine never had an issue cutting a 1.76 60' on 28" DRs with a 3600/4:11 combo (my old 4L60e combo)

Clamps on the front. I cut 1.7s also on slicks with no issue
