Default Clunking in transfer case?

Hi. I have an 03 Sierra Denali AWD. There is a clunk underneath the truck when I hit the gas. Both u-joints are new. I put the truck on a lift today and stood underneath while my buddy shifted from D to R. It sounds like it's coming from inside the transfer case. Is this a common problem? Is there a fix for this?

Try reading the sticky thread on changing the input shaft in the transfer case, take a look at where they point out the clip that wears out in the rear of the case, it keeps the pump in place. I don't know a lot about these things, but its something to look at.
