Hey Guys,
I was curious if any one here is using or have used Coan Racing products.
I know yeah did trannys for Lingenfelter at one time and maybe they still do, just looking for some feedback. My stock 4L60E is starting to slip and i am just looking around at what is out there for replacement. I know FLT is the most popular tranny on this forum but i like i said just looking around. I am running a 6.0 w/Whipple, 10psi boost at 3200ft elevation, stock converter, 3.42 gears, GT2-3 cam, stock heads, forged low compression pistions. Hoping for 500 at the wheels(may need more boost).Mostly street but go to drags maybe 8 times a year with Hooiser DOT tires.
Thanks for any info.

Personally, I've never heard of them. You are in FLT country over here. Give them a call or go to their website. http://www.finishlinetrans.com/

COAN is an industry icon that has been in racing for decades. Their hardcore racing converters are some of the best. However, they are not well known for their gm overdrive transmissions. I would also suggest FLT or other late model trans specialists.
