Default Convert to th400 questions

I have a 03 gmc 4.8 with bolt ons been threw one trans already lookin for different setup was lookin into doin a th400 with full manuel valve body so i control the shifting now hows that gonna work with the ecm?

tune it for a 5-speed. don't think you need a 5 speed ecm, should be able to set it up in the tune. th400 is a blast btw. just don't forget you don't have OD, so it will cranking down the highway.

would blackbear be the one going with for the tuning? its more in town truck no high way miles really! its way cheaper to build and better with the 3 speed for my kinda driving

how much longer or shorter is the driveline gotta be i know its not gonna bolt up
