Converter ?...
I put in a hughes 2800 stall that I got from a friend.... In his Camero it stalled perfect... In my truck it only stalls at 2100rpms till I can feel the tires start to break loose.. Any ideas on why its lower on mine?

The more cubes that you have the higher the stall will be on any given applications. And I believe it is because the more cubes the higher the torque, Considering that you are running the 4.8 that might be why. But the 2100 sounds about right to me.

****!!! So If I want a 2800... Id have to go to 347ci at minimum or get another converter... I also hear it can be my tires too.. They suck.. Theyre stock with like 50% tread left.. I want at least 2500 stall speed..

Its not the cubes that effect where the converter will stall to its the TQ, gearing and weight of the vehicle in question. Mainly anyway.
Your friend had more TQ and significantly less weight than you.
Another thing to consider is you are looking at "brake stall", which is different than "flash stall". You cannot accurately test a given converters stall point in a car without a transbrake. Brake stalling is limited by the cras traction ability and often times is much lower than the actual "stall" point or the "flash stall" of the converter. The closest you are gonna get to figuring your stall point out is either having AWD/4WD or putting a set of slicks on and mashing the throttle. LOL
