I wouldn't go any tighter than a 3000 with that cam. I was just looking at converters recently and decided that when the time comes I am going with a PI tripple disk. Most here use PI or Yank.

I like my Yank TT3000... its not bad around town... mostly about 1600-1800... hard to keep it any lower than that... and it will brake stall to about 2400 in mine cause my brakes suck... it will flash to 4000-4200 towing a trailer if i dont break traction... hahaha

I just ordered an Edge, and they custom build every converter to your application, you tell them your mods and future mods, towing, gear ratio, and they tailor the stall and str around that. I'll let you know next week how I like it.
