Default converter mpg

I just purchased a FLT lev4 and i am going to put a converter in while i have it out and trying to figure out what kinda difference in mpg guys are seeing with the tt2600 yank over stock mpg, and the yank 3000

all input will be great

Congrats on a purchase of the finest quality! I'd recommend the TT3000, around town you might see as much as a 2mpg loss, on highway none.

thanks also how much time difference do u think i could see at the track with the 3000 over stock

Faster on your 60' time. Stock 5.3L 60' ~ 2.2s. I went to a 3000 stall speed TC, and cut 2.0 with a bad tune in the vid in my sig (truck pulled 8* timing thru 3rd gear til two months ago). Can't wait to get back to the track to REALLY see what I can do with a 3200 stall speed TC.

agree faster 60 fts and also my stock converter went a 1.9 60ft. but havent been too track yet with my 3,000 stall

like Trever said, in town mileage will suffer some. Going from stock to a 3500 i dropped .5 in the 1/8.

I have a vigilante 3500 in an ls1 with a moderate cam and bolt ons and got 18.5mpg with about 5 wot runs on it a couple weeks ago. O and I got a 4.10 gear
