Default Converter not locking when cold

I have noticed for the last 3 days. As soon as I leave for work in the morning and get on the highway, the converter will not lock for the first cuople miles... I have it tuned to lock at 50mph. Its not doing it until it seems to get a tad bit of heat in it. I let the truck warm up for almost 10 minutes every morning. The trans has a hell of a cooler setup on it so I'm thinking its actually working too well LOL... Lemme know if anyone has had this problem and what I should do...

Mine is doing the same. If I recall they aren't supposed to lock until a specified trans temp.

makes sense... thats exactly how its acting, I was just trying to eliminate the possibility of a lockup solenoid.

+1 on a real cold day with a cooler setup like that it may never lock up.

I did read on here a while back that the tranny fluid had to come up to 70*C before it would allow for TC lock up. The colder it gets, the farther I have to drive before I feel it lock up.
