Default converting 2/4 to 3/4

I currently have a 2/4 drop which consists of 2" front coils, and 4" hanger/shackle rear drop. I would like to fill the front wheel well up some, so I want to lower the front 1" .

Would it negatively affect my ride to get the belltech 3" front coils for the drop and nothing else? Or would I have to get some sort of spindle? I dont know of anyone who makes a 1" drop spindle.

Any suggestions?

No 1" drop spindles out there. What size wheels you got??

I would defenitely suggest a 2" spindle an 1" coil over a 3" coil. But for spindle you ahve to run a 18" wheel or larger unless you wanna screw with the ball joints.

Or if ya wanna go the cheesy way out you could prolly get away with cutting about a half of a coil off to get 3" of drop out of a 2" coil

You could still run a spindle ok you will just have to cut off the bottom portion of the ball joint stud so it doesnt rub on your wheels.

Stiff ride and alignment issues.

Ya you will be ok................ It will align up just fine, a spindle though you do not have to worry about alignment

What about control arms. DJM makes 3" lower control arms. I would avoid a 3" coil as well. Spindles cut down on turing radius, and that may suck if you have an extended cab.

Control arms align good and you can relocate the tie rod to avoid bump steer problems often associated with control arms.
