Default Converting a yukon denali from AWD to 2/4wheel drive

Is this just as simple as replacing the transfer case and front shaft or do I need to replace my front diff as well? Also is it possible to have a operational 2/4 electric shift or do I need to get a manual transfer case and just crawl underneath and click it in when I want to go 4wd.

Need to swap the front axle for one with a disconnect and maybe add the wiring for it. May need to add the wiring along with the switch inside the cab, and find a transfercase with the actuator on it.
The BCM may need to be programmed to make the shift actuator work.

If I get around to doing it, I was going to find a totaled 4wd yukon and swap everything. There were some with a full-time 4wd system also, just had a hi-lo range unlike the AWD cases. So double check you know what you're getting.

I found a manual transfer case and I swapped it and the shaft and its a done deal. I have been driving it for several hundred miles no issue, Should I go ahead and swap the axle too though? I have it from that same doner truck.

By running the non-disconnect front axle, youre turning the front driveshaft all the time. If you can live with that, then you should be fine.
