Default Coolant loss out vapor tubes

Ok so I just built my first ls engine, It is a 4.8l from a 2000 truck. It has a stock bottom end, comp cam and parts, An edlebrock victor jr intake with a carb on top. Has the edlebrock/MSD control box for the coils, head studs and the good layered gaskets. The problem I am having ithat it is pushing cooland out the cross over tubes that are attached to the heads. Can anyone tell me why? What did I do wrong? I switched heads to 862s, that had the back two plugged and only used the front two. Any help would be great. Thanks Brian

Yeah, there are seals for those tubes. Did you put new ones on? The seal has an embedded o-ring that goes around the tube.

Yes I put new orings on when I installed the tubes, the coolant is comming out the tube where the hose would hook on, does this need to be plumbed back into the radiator somewhere? I read on here it wzs just for vapor not coolant flow and guys were running it into a catch can.

Yea you need a 1/4 (i think) hose from that tube back to the radiator on the passenger side port
