Cover preload question
I finally installed my Eaton last night. While I had it apart, I decided to install one of those aftermarket (LPW Racing) aluminum covers with the external cap preload bolts. The instructions say to torque to 10ftlbs. My torque wrench doesn't go that low, so I gave it about 25inlbs. My question is, how many inch lbs make 1 ftlb? Just to be sure.

Use the drop down box, choose the conversion and plug in the numbers.
I believe to convert foot pounds to inch pounds, multiply by 12.
To convert inch pounds to foot pounds, divide by 12.
25 pound inch = 2.0833333 pound foot
