Yes you can. I've been doing it for years and have re-used crush sleeves over a dozen times with no failures. You have to know what you are doing. If it is your first rear end build, using a new crush sleeve is recommended.

lol yeah its a pain you can only get like a 1/8th of a turn at a time . once it starts to crush you can take off the cheater and tightin a lilttle bit then rotate , then tightin and keep rotateing till you get the pre load you need . i had the cheater going out the driver side then you can push down "stand on it lol." you wil feel it crush and start to get easyer .

I've done the same 4 or 5 times with no problem at all. Like TurboGibbs stated though for the guys that arent quite as experienced with it I would definately recommend just using a new crush sleeve.
