cutting strut coils.......bad idea for 2008 RCSB?

I've used lowering springs and also cut springs plenty of times. I don't have a single negative thing to say about cutting the springs. Use a cutoff wheel, not a torch, and go with 1/4-1/2 coil at a a time. It takes alot of patience to keep reinstalling them to see where your at, but if you use stock coils you don't have to worry about them settling at all. Plus you can sell your aftermarket coils and make up some money.
