Seems the Pinion gear had a cracked tooth in it and thats what the binding was. Who knows if it was installed that way, or happened because of the tight d-shaft??? Pinion bearing race was completely obliterated and that was definately from the d-shaft. Just dumb luck that it was noticed by a crafty mechanic, otherwise it wuda grenaded my rear end - again! GOD pls let this be the last major repair - not too many high end sports cars I couldnt have bot by this point...

........................When you wanna play, you've gotta be willing to pay!

Ain't nothing cheap about forced induction, especially when you get into it as deep as you are. But then I'm willing to bet you knew that when you decided to do it.

Seems that taking the trailing arm extension brackets has done the trick. Just gotta get the new ring&pinion installed and we're good to go! Just praying I didnt do any rr seal damage on the tranny...
