Damn the stock steel wheels are heavy!

yeah... my 22's are only 35 lbs... and the tires couldn't be more than 25 pounds or so.. probably lighter than the 45 series 20's?


F8L- I think you should have slammed it and put it on 35 series tires .. 40's to say the least. Those Goodyears are going to be terrible.


I think it's nice having some of those Big, heavy, shiny wheels, when they end up being lighter than the stockers.

when they say stockers are the lightest, they mean the stock aloys, lol

Chris,

I didn't want a slammed truck this time. I slammed my old 90' 454SS and it was too much of a pain to drive around. The T/A is really low too and part of owning a truck for me is not having to sweat speed bumps and such. LOL

5.3 Racer, the aluminum stock wheels are light. It's the steel wheels and the factory 20s that are insanely heavy.
