Dearle #14204 '00 Silvy Z71 4x4
I just ordered the Dearle #14204 +2 1/8 qt. capacity for my '00 4L60E. I took the measurements of the factory pan that looks like it may be a little deeper than standard stock pan and has the optional OEM drain plug. Took the dimensions of the stock pan and then compared to the Dearle and looks like it'll clear the exhaust crossover just fine.
Has anyone else installed one of these?
The pan and True Cool will replace the OEM 14"x7" cooler.
I particularly like the Dearle Pan because it offers additional cooling and fluid capacity, drain plug and 1/8" npt for my Autometer mechanical trans temp gauge.
This is all in preparation for the Circle D 278mm TC.
Only other mods I'm maiking is the Hypertec 180* thermostadt in order to cool things down overall and support performance tuning.
