Default destroyed the driveshaft

Ok, my 06 Crew Cab spit the driveshaft out into 3 pieces today on the 2-3 shift. It was the long single aluminum shaft, what have you guys with hot rod crew cabs done to fix this? I was thinking about getting one made next week, same length, just a thicker aluminum. I don't really want to go 2 piece unless I have to and a steel one that long would weigh a ton.

I put a custom steel driveshaft in mine. I love it took care of a lot of the high speed vibration I had with the stocker.

I made a bolt in crossmember For mine and switched to a factory 2pc. I've got my old 1pc just sitting in the shop of you're really looking for another stock one. Not sure about getting it to you though, shipping wouldn't be easy!

Jv, what ya want for it? You can just wrap it in bubble wrap and tape it up good and FedEx will ship it. That will at least get the truck back drivable until I can get one built.

Are they the same overall length? I dont mind building a crossmember but i dont wont to pay to have it cut and rebalanced. BTW I have a crew and the stocker will roar like a **** around 90-100. I know its a matter of time.
