Default Detroit true-trac who's had issues

Well I pulled the rear diff cover off my truck last night just to see how everything is holding up in there and what do I find but a bunch of shavings in the oil it's not the gears I'm pretty sure it's the true-trac. It isn't making any weird noises. The shavings are a silver color I'll get pics tonight.

search my name, i did the samething, but was doing a gear swap, didnt have many miles on the tru trac when i found the worm gears to be eaten up, though the warranty said not to disassemble i did anyway and took many pics then put it back together, seemed like 2 gears in the true trac were upside down compared to the other 2, go figure! ron waranntied it, but it took quite a long time getting replacement so i bought another then got refunded some time after !
