Default diagnose my transmission

guess im joining the club here soon. transmission is on its way out. heres the symptoms

it does not like shifting from 3 to 4, but it will. when it gets to 4th i can play with the rpm's with no problems. it is pulling a little but its slipping BAD. tranny temps went from 200 to 250 in a matter of seconds when in 4th. had to drop it to 3rd and limp home tonight. anyone have any ideas of whats wrong?

3-4 clutch pack is on its way out sorry TX. I have a trans guy that will do a full rebuild in two days for 400 bucks jsut have to drop the trans off. Like I said in the other thread I also ahve a place to pull it may be able to talk him down on the price to use his shop too. PM me for more details about the rebuild I will get flamed to hell for recommending the guy(well where he works).

Well honestly you dont want to just go back with normal **** or you be back in the sam esituation there are a few key parts you want to upgrade IMO. NOt sure on the difficulty I can give you the number to my trans guy and you can call him and see what he says and how much he would want. He does the trans work on the side so he can cut down the price.
