Sounds like a killer set up, I bet you can't wait to get it back up and going.

Do you mind sharing some pictures of the brackets you are making?

I have a Whipple 2.9 going on my truck in the next few weeks.

I am guessing you mean the Alt relocation bracket. When I did this a few years ago I couldn't find anyone that made one. Now if you google it you can find some.

I know I visited your album and thought the same thing. Here's one of how it looks now all together.

Definitely a thing of beauty!

I switched to the Holley polished aluminum covers when I had to pull it out. The powder coating started looking like crap and I really like the cleaner look of not having the coil brackets.

Just got back from picking up the tranny so tomorrow is go time...

Good luck with that set up. What made you go with a aluminum drum? You can fit 6 frictions in most direct drums and maintain the factory molded piston which is very reliable.

Hopefully I will be able to put some worry free miles on it. They told me they found the billet aluminum drum was stronger and the weight reduction would also be a benefit. They may have only been telling me they would be putting in a extra set of frictions and I just figured it was due to the new drum.

I went to bolt the transfer case on this evening and I cannot find the rubber seal from the tranny to the tcase adapter. It will be my luck the dealership will be out of stock and have to order one.

Yea but they are not opened on Saturday. I was able to find a dealership to get one this morning. Got it installed and all seems good. The converter locking for overdrive is son smooth now. They said they found something Monster did to the case I think that increased the line pressure and they removed it. I will get some more road time on it tomorrow and get it broke in. The tranny shop is going to tune the tranny settings next week for me.
