i'm trying to settle an argument with someone. So, any 60e's behind 6.0's or in hd trucks?

While i'm at it..... did they ever put a 5.3 in an hd?

I don't know for certain, but I believe all HD 6.0 had 4l80e behind them and don't think any 5.3's ever went in an HD.

no 5.3s in HD trucks

no 60e's in HD trucks

they did put 60e's behind 6.0s just not in a HD

the engine trans combos for 2500/3500HDs go like this, 6.0/80e, DMAX/Allison, 8.1L/Allsion. the combo for the 1500HD/2500LD is the 6.0/80e

so in short "someone" is wrong

8.1/80e was also an option, but no, HD's have never had a 60e or anything smaller than a 6.0
