Default didn't take long!

Mods in sig. After the 6.0 install , the trans takes a long time to shift @wot. Part throttle shifts were ok and now pretty nice w/ the vette servo. But, wot shifts take way to long. I wonder if I need the line pressure @wot bumped, A washer behind the servo, A shift kit, Or a rebuild? When you pry on the servo cover , it goes in a little more than 1/4 " .That seems like alot compared to the last one I did on a nwer trans. Whatayallthink?

Looks like the poor 4L60E is ready to dump on ya...lasted longer than i thought it would! Time for a 4L80E or nicely built 4L60(5)E. Isnt that a 90K tranny?

Naw....you got a little ways to go. LQ9 + 4L60E in a RCSB z71 was holding when my bro. sold the truck with 12k so far on it...about 32k total i believe. He didn't baby it either. It was getting a little soft on shifts but still was in great condition.

false alarm! I am an idiot! didn't check the fluid level after the servo install. On the up side , It shifts great and I just g-teched a 9.5 on some spinning a$$ factory size tires! I feel so stupid, even had someone tell me to check that and I forgot. its even an ase question "whats the most likely cause of tranny problems?" LOW FLUID!!!

Glad you remembered to check it. That's a good cause to the problem. I thought it was a bit early but looks like you have been using your new found power often! Who could blame ya!

Hey at least it is just a few $'s in fluid rather than a few thousands on a tranny
