I have a front diff out of an 03 SSS that I would like to put in my truck but noticed there are some differences. I think Im going to have to swap out the Pside end which houses the little plunger that engages the front diff. Other then that is there anything else I have to change? I havent really researched this swap much yet, just wondering if anyone knows off the top of their head.

 

isn't the SS full-time FWD ? Would that mean that the switching is in the t-case, and the front is vacuum actuated ? If that' true, is the SS front diff always "locked"?

 

You will have to take all of your pass side tube, axle, and internals to your new diff. The ss front diff is always engaged, your truck isnt.
