Default Differential any different from 03 to 08???

Can the Built Differential off my 03 Silverado(disk brakes) be completely moved to my new 08 Silverado(Drum)? I dont want to have to purchase everything again or have to pay to remove and reinstall my gears on both of my trucks.

Other than the brakes and gear ration....its the same. You can transfer you disc brakes to the new truck if you want, direct swap.
