disc rearend to drum rearend..straight forward swap?

I remember at one point a while back I put disc on the back of a jeep project and took the regulator plunger out of the end of the distribution block right after the master cylinder and when I was hard on the brakes they locked up. Since you are going the other way you might just swap the block with what you take the axle out of.

It is controlled in the ABS module on these vehicles. I wouldn't mess with them on these vehicles.

I looked into having the calibration changed but there is so many unknown factors and no one wants to take the liability to flash it. You need the dealer tool's and the dealer calibration files to flash that module.

It would be easier to put a manual proportion control valve in line with the rear brakes. there only like $40.

Would that mean running new brake lines? And would effect abs?

No on the first one and I am not 100% on the second. I don't think so. Your only restricting the volume and limiting the max pressure.

Gotcha. Well i guess ill go ahead and do the swap and take care of those problems. Doesnt sound like itll give me too much of a headache.

So on a drum setup, does the brake lines run from each side of the axle to a brake "T" on top of the middle of the axle?

I am, Not sure I don't have a 10 bolt with drums. I would imagine there fairly close as people claim to have swapped them straight across.
