Good idea. I bet the 3mil contractor bags i have in the garage would work great!

I'm thinking I'll get a camber gauge, then either string the truck or do the scribe method to set the toe-in. Sounds like I have some work to do this Friday

Napa has a magnetic camber gauge for $100, I wonder how good it is.



Maybe I should just get the nice one like I had pictured above.

I've always wanted to invest in some alignment tools. My last alignment, I had to go through 5 different shops because no one wants to mess with a lowered truck. "Its too low to get on our lift!" Then when you finally do get it aligned, it eats tires up in 3000 miles and they won't warranty it because its lowered. I hate having to rely on a shop for anything.

This is going to be a good thread. I'm with Kelsey. Having to worry about another shop working on your truck is to stressful and you will always wonder if it is done right. I'm in for results!

I ended up just buying a lifetime alignment from my local Firestone shop, cost $180 but lasts as long as I own the truck. Sorry to disappoint
