Default DJM Carrier Bearing Instructions

I put a carrier bearing bracket on my old truck and it was a Ground Force one. It was a easy install. They sent me a DJM one this time and it only has two long bolts. WTF? Am I overlooking the proper way to install this one or do they send the wrong hardware? Any help? I would like to think that there should be four shorter bolts included.

The two bolts should go through the crossmember. The instructions for the DJM relocator are ****. Just light everything up left to right and top to bottom and drill accordingly. The install the adapter and enjoy.

I see. This one bolts on different. So just line it up and drill holes in the round crossmember bar? I will look at in the morning.

Unfortunatly, DJM is cheap as ****. I'm starting to realize this as I get older, but yes that's how it goes. Go with Belltech or McGaughys for quality.

And yes I have a DJM carrier bearing on my truck.

Thanks Randomhero. That helped greatly. I agree that DJM sucks. This is the first time to deal with one of their products and will not do it again. I called Tech at DJM before I posted and they were no help!

Yes, you have to drill the mount holes in the round crossmember and cut out the stock bearing mount. I can grab you a pic of mine if need it.

it's crap, but it works. If I had to do it again, I would just cut the mount off, weld it back on higher, then use spacers to locate the carier bear exactly where you need it. I was happy with my DJM Contol arms and hangers, but that cb relocator is junk.

im using the djm, not quite like its supposed to. i have it sitting with the two tabs resting on the old mount, (kind of like sitting on a shelf) and the carrier bearing bolted to the elongated holes. Its been working fine for me...
