Dmax driveshaft swap??
Im looking to swap the rear driveshaft from my '03 2500HD 6.0/80e for an aluminum driveshaft from a duramax. Will I just be able to get the correct length and utilize the current yokes and U joints? What would I need to get this to work?

I have a gauge for that

You will need to change the front slip yoke and the rear yoke with new rear ujoint. Alternatively for the rear you can try and find a 1410 yoke for whatever axle you have, but I dont think they make one for anything smaller than the 10.5" 14bolt, which means new yoke and ujoint for the rear of the shaft is your only option. So you have the cost for the shaft, plus new slip yoke, ujoint yoke, ujoint and cost to have the length adjusted and balanced.
I would just get a new custom shaft...

Plus, the oem DMAX shaft isn't nearly as strong as a purpose built shaft, which I assume is your main priority. Its probably an easier swap for a OBS because the diesels and gasser 3/4ton trucks both used the 4l80 trans so it would be nearly a direct swap.
