Just did 2/4 yesterday on a '00 z71 ecsb. Keys, shackles, ! OEM lift block, Belltech shocks. Can't wait to get spindles, hangers and notch so I can go 4-6.
Alignment is within factory specs, drives good, and rides like stock until you hit big bumps.

I have a 2/4 now but wish i would of did the 4/6 cuz i have to notch my frame anyways do to i hit the frame on just about every bump or dip in the road. I think the 4/6 looks bad *** on the nbs trucks i think its the perfect drop.

I have a 2/4 but love the 4/6 look. I think where you live is what determines it at the end (roads). Oh and if I went any lower would have to back my truck in every time I park to clear intercooler. My buddy has 4/6 but some speed bumps here has to hit them in an angle and watch those dips in driveways.

i just lowered my 2wd SS 2/4 lastnight. mcgaughys spindles/hangers/shackles.

it sits exactly 1.5 inchs lower in the rear. so its riding cali bad. and also with only one groove left on bumpstop.. and the bracket removed from the bumpstop its 3/4 a inch from axle.

its like i did a 2/5 or something. i wanna order some keys for the front but dont wanna ruin allignment specs. also i need a c-notch bad.

and my steering went to ****. i have to back up to park a lot now.

so with spindles and drop keys ill get a good allignment spec right?

You may need come uca camber bushings if the keys won't align. I'm running belltech 2508 spindles with 3/4 ton keys and the truck is out of spec by 1° set about 5" lower than stock. I love the way my truck rides and I'm about to notch the frame to run a 7" drop coil or bag, bilstein HD shocks ride great on these trucks when they're lowered. Also peep this thread regarding spindle clearancing for improved turning radius
